ASESMEN RISIKO KESEHATAN BAHAN KIMIA PADA PROSES MANUAL FILM RADIOGRAFI DI PTN X TAHUN 2022

Film radiografi sinar –X diproses menggunakan cairan developer dan fixer yang mengandung bahan kimia dan diketahui memiliki efek terhadap kesehatan. Calon radiografer menghabiskan lebih banyak waktu di area prosesor dalam memproses lebih banyak film sehingga meningkatkan risiko paparan bahan kimia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menilai risiko kesehatan penggunaan bahan kimia developer dan fixer penting diperlukan untuk mitigasi keselamatan pada proses tersebut. Asesmen ini menggunakan pendekatan studi kasus dengan metode kombinasi kualitatif dan semi-kuantitatif melalui rute pajanan inhalasi dan pajanan dermal. Hasil penilaian risiko pajanan bahan kimia rute inhalasi pada hydroquinone, acetic acid, glutaraldehyde, ammonium thiosulfate dan aluminiun thiosulfat secara berturut-turut memiliki nilai 9,15,15,9 dan 6. Dalam menilai risiko kesehatan pada pajanan bahan kimia menggunakan beberapa langkah yang diawali dengan mengumpulkan informasi, melakukan rekognisi dan membaginya menjadi beberapa aktifitas, menentukan tingkat bahaya kesehatan, melakukan evaluasi pajanan baik melalui inhalasi maupun dermal sampai menetapkan level risiko kesehatan. Pada pajanan melaui dermal bahan kimia hydroquinone, acetic acid, dan glutaraldehyde memiliki risiko moderate. Pada bahan kimia aluminium sulfate memiliki nilai risiko tinggi sedangkan Ammounium Thiosulfate nilai risikonya moderate. Pada rute pajanan inhalasi penilaian risiko paling ringgi ada pada saat proses development menggunakan bahan kimia glutaraldehyde dan acetic acid dengan nilai 15. Dari perspektif kesehatan, studi ini menekankan perlunya memperhitungkan dampak dari penggunaan cairan bahan kimia pada proses pencucian film radiografi.References
