APLIKASI VIRTUAL REALITY DALAM REHABILITASI EKSTREMITAS ATAS PASIEN POST STROKE: LITERATURE REVIEW

Stroke merupakan penyakit yang menyebabkan kecacatan pada penderitanya. Pasien paska terjadi stroke mengalami kelemahan motorik dan hambatan dalam ambulasi. Salah satu kelemahan yang sering terjadi adalah ekstremitas atas sehingga diperlukan rehabilitasi untuk dapat mengembalikan fungsi normalnya. Rehabilitasi dengan pengaplikasian teknologi Virtual Reality menjadikan salah satu teknologi yang banyak di uji cobakan. Tujuan penulisan artikel ini untuk mengetahui keefektifan penggunaan terapi rehabilitasi ekstremitas atas dengan teknologi Virtual Reality. Dalam menulis artikel ini, penulis menggunakan metode literatur review yang berfokus dalam hal pemanfaatan teknologi Virtual Reality dalam terapi rehabilitasi. Pengaplikasian teknologi Virtual Reality menunjukkan hasil penelitian yang mendukung bahwa rehabilitasi dengan teknologi Virtual Reality dapat berguna dan efektif. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan peningkatan yang signifikan dalam pemulihan gerakan anggota ekstremitas atas pada pasien paska stroke. Jenis Virtual Reality yang banyak dipakai dari 10 jurnal yang di analisis adalah jenis Virtual Reality berbasis game dan terapi rehabilitasi yang dilakukan dikombinasi dengan terapi konvensional. Pengaplikasian terapi berbasis teknologi Virtual Reality masih perlu terus dikembangkan sehingga bisa mendapatkan manfaat yang lebih besar.References
