EFEKTIVITAS MHEALTH DALAM PENINGKATAN MANAJEMEN KESEHATAN DIRI PASIEN DM TIPE 2: LITERATURE REVIEW

Diabetes Self Management (DSM) menjadi kunci utama yang penting dalam memperbaiki kualitas hidup dan menurunkan angka kematian pada pasien DM tipe 2. Mhealth adalah salah satu aplikasi seluler yang dipakai untuk meningkatkan DSM. Tujuan penulisan ini adalah mendeskripsikan pemanfaatan mHealth untuk meningkatkan DSM pada pasien DM tipe 2. Metode penulisan ini menggunakan pencarian pada database PROQUEST, SCOPUS, SCIENCE DIRECT dan SAGE antara tahun 2017 sampai dengan 2022. Setelah disaring kembali yaitu eksklusi dari judul dan abstrak yang tidak sesuai dengan topik dan tidak berkaitan dengan lingkup penelitian (mobile health pada DM tipe 2) didapat 27 artikel yang relevan, kemudian disaring kembali dan didapatkan 10 artikel tahun 2018 sampai 2022 sesuai kajian literatur. Hasil dari penulisan ini menyatakan bahwa mHealth terbukti efektif untuk meningkatkan DSM berupa pelaporan hasil cek glukosa darah, kontrol berat badan, dan aktivitas fisik pada pasien DM tipe 2. Intervensi mHealth yang diberikan pada pasien DM tipe 2 terdiri dari pemberian pendidikan kesehatan tentang diabetes mellitus, pemantauan gula darah mandiri, layanan konseling diet, tips gaya hidup sehat, video, email, serta dampak penggunaan aplikasi seluler terhadap perawatan diri, persepsi penyakit, gula darah dan tingkat HbA1C, berat badan, dan tekanan darah pada pasien dengan DM tipe 2. Simpulan hasil penulisan ini adalah mHealth memberikan banyak kemudahan yang dapat diakses bagi pasien dengan DM tipe 2 sehingga meningkatkan manajemen diri pasien DM tipe 2. mHealth sangat memungkinkan untuk dipakai di Indonesia sebagai salah satu cara meningkatkan pelayanan pada pasien DM tipe 2.References
