HUBUNGAN SELF-ESTEEM DAN MACHIAVELLIANISM PADA PENGGUNA PROFIL PALSU DI APLIKASI KENCAN

Kemajuan teknologi dan akses internet menciptakan inovasi baru, yaitu aplikasi kencan. Aplikasi kencan menjadi suatu cara untuk mencari teman, serta memulai hubungan romantis. Pengguna aplikasi kencan memungkinkan dapat membuat identitas palsu untuk mendapatkan keuntungan pribadi dengan seseorang dari aplikasi kencan. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui uji hipotesis yang diajukan dalam penelitian. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian korelasional. Pada penelitian ini memperoleh nilai r = - 0.414, p = 0.000 < 0.5. Menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan negatif yang signifikan antara self-esteem dan machiavellianism pada pengguna akun palsu di aplikasi kencan. Sebaliknya, semakin tinggi tingkat self-esteem maka semakin rendah pula tingkat Machiavellianism.References
