Secara intrinsik tidak ada yang salah dengan menggunakan teknik virtual yang sama yang digunakan dalam pendidikan konvensional untuk pendidikan Islam atau pesantren. Dengan demikian, peneliti akan mencari data untuk memperkuat ketika peneliti mengusulkan sistem sekolah asrama virtual (virtual boarding school education) dimana sumber daya pendidikan dibagi secara merata kepada generasi milenial. Kami mengumpulkan informasi dari internet di majalah, buku, prosiding, dan situs web yang terkait dengan pendidikan online di lingkungan sekolah asrama. Data kemudian diberi kode, dievaluasi secara menyeluruh, dan ditarik kesimpulan untuk mengatasi masalah utama proyek.
