Due to its potential impact on growth and well-being, adolescent mental health issues require attention. The primary objective of this study was to examine the relationship between adolescents' emotional and mental well-being and factors such as self-esteem and family support. A quantitative methodology based on a cross-sectional design was used in this study. A total of 125 adolescents (aged 15 to 18) were randomly selected from 125 adolescents in Palangka Raya City during the summer of 2025. Emotional well-being, self-esteem, and data on family support (including informational, appreciative, instrumental, and emotional support) were among the topics discussed. We used logistic regression for multivariate analysis, chi-square test for bivariate analysis, and univariate analysis for the data. Respondents did not suffer from emotional or mental illness, and the majority had strong self-esteem. The analysis findings showed a significant relationship between self-esteem and family support in the form of informational, instrumental, and emotional support with adolescents' emotional mental health (p<0.05). Self-esteem and family support play an important role in adolescents' emotional mental health. Increasing self-esteem and family involvement in providing adequate support can help maintain adolescent mental health.Downloads
