Clinical Outcome Resistensi Antibiotik Pada Pasien Unit Perawatan Intensif (ICU)

Resistensi antibiotik menjadi tantangan utama dalam pelayanan kesehatan global, khususnya pada pasien Unit Perawatan Intensif (ICU). Infeksi bakteri penghasil Extended-Spectrum Beta-Lactamase (ESBL) dapat membatasi pilihan terapi dan memperburuk luaran klinis hingga meningkatkan risiko kematian. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis hubungan resistensi antibiotik terhadap clinical outcome pada pasien ICU. Desain yang digunakan adalah analitik retrospektif terhadap 201 pasien ICU. Analisis data meliputi uji Chi-Square untuk variabel kategorik, uji Mann–Whitney untuk lama rawat inap guna menentukan faktor risiko independen mortalitas. Hasil menunjukkan infeksi ESBL berhubungan signifikan dengan mortalitas (p = 0,001).Downloads
