Radiografi Thorax dengan Sangkaan Fraktur Kominutif Costae di Rumah Sakit X di Kota Medan

Radiografi Thorax adalah modalitas pencitraan yang paling umum untuk penyakit paru. Fraktur kominutif costae adalah cedera pada dada akibat benturan keras yang menyebabkan patah tulang rusuk lebih dari satu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi teknik pemeriksaan radiografi thorax pada pasien dengan kondisi umum buruk akibat kecelakaan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan studi kasus pada satu pasien di RS X di Kota Medan. Teknik pemeriksaan menggunakan proyeksi Antero-Posterior (AP) dengan pengolahan film Digital Radiography (DR). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya fraktur kominutif di os costae 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 posterior kanan serta os costae 3, 4, 9, 10 posterior kiri. Penggunaan teknik High kV (110 kV) efektif dalam mengurangi dosis radiasi dan mengatasi unsharpness movement pada pasien sesak napas.Downloads
