Abstract This study aims to explore the application of art therapy utilizing weaving techniques as an intervention for patients experiencing auditory hallucinations in schizophrenia. The research also seeks to assess the impact of this intervention on the reduction of symptoms and the enhancement of the patients' overall quality of life. A descriptive analysis method was employed using a case study approach, involving two patients diagnosed with auditory hallucinations at Dr. Arif Zainudin Mental Hospital. Data were collected using the Auditory Hallucinations Rating Scale (AHRS) and through direct observation during therapy sessions. The results revealed a significant reduction in AHRS scores, with respondent 1 experiencing a decrease from 18 to 12, and respondent 2 from 14 to 11. This reduction indicates the effectiveness of the weaving technique in mitigating hallucination symptoms. Furthermore, the study highlights how art therapy can facilitate self-expression and provide a safe avenue for patients to communicate their thoughts and feelings. These findings suggest that art therapy represents a valuable and effective alternative in the therapeutic approach to severe mental disorders. Keywords: Art Therapy, Menganyam, Skizofrenia.Downloads
