Abstract

Pemberian edukasi yang efektif pada ibu nifas sangat penting untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang stimulasi produksi ASI dan mendukung keberhasilan pemberian ASI eksklusif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh media lembar balik dan media video terhadap pengetahuan ibu nifas tentang stimulasi produksi ASI serta membandingkan efektivitas kedua media. Penelitian menggunakan desain quasi-experimental dengan pendekatan pretest–posttest dua kelompok. Populasi dari 50 ibu nifas dengan tehnik total sampling, terbagi rata ke dalam kelompok lembar balik (n=25) dan kelompok video (n=25). Instrumen berupa kuesioner pengetahuan yang telah diuji validitasnya melalui penilaian expert. Hasil analisis tidak berdistribusi normal sehingga dilakukan uji Wilcoxon menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pengetahuan pada kedua kelompok setelah intervensi lembar balik (p = 0,001) dan video (p = 0,001). Perbandingan antar kelompok menggunakan uji Mann–Whitney menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan pada kelompok video lebih tinggi dibanding lembar balik (p < 0,05). Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa kedua media efektif meningkatkan pengetahuan ibu nifas, namun media video lebih efektif dibanding lembar balik dalam meningkatkan pemahaman mengenai stimulasi produksi ASI.
