Quality of life is an important indicator in assessing the success of hemodialysis therapy, because it covers the patient's physical, psychological and social aspects. This study aims to determine the relationship between anemia and quality of life in chronic kidney failure patients undergoing hemodialysis at Royal Prima Medan Hospital in 2024. This study used a cross sectional design with a sample size of 57 respondents selected by purposive sampling. Data collection was carried out using questionnaires and medical record data. Data analysis used the Chi-Square test to determine the relationship between anemia and the patient's quality of life. The results showed that the majority of respondents had moderate anemia, 36 people (63.2%), 10 people (17.5%) had mild anemia, 6 people (10.5%) had severe anemia, and 5 people (8.8%) had no anemia. Meanwhile, the majority of patients' quality of life was in the good category, 38 people (66.7%), 12 people (21.1%), and 7 people (12.3%) poor. The statistical test results show a p-value = 0.000 (< 0.05), which means there is a significant relationship between anemia and quality of life in chronic kidney failure patients undergoing hemodialysis. There is a significant relationship between anemia and the quality of life of chronic kidney failure patients undergoing hemodialysis at the Royal Prima Medan Hospital in 2025.
