Perbandingan Buerger Allen Exercise (BAE) dan Diabetic Foot Exercises (DFE) Terhadap Kadar Glukosa Darah Pada Penderita Diabetes Melitus Tipe 2

Penelitian ini bertujuan membandingkan efektivitas Buerger Allen Exercise (BAE) dan Diabetic Foot Exercises (DFE) terhadap kadar glukosa darah puasa pada penderita diabetes melitus (DM) tipe 2. Penelitian ini mendesain studi kuasi-eksperimental dengan kelompok kontrol nonekuivalen. Sebanyak 80 pra-lansia penderita DM tipe 2 berusia 45-59 tahun dari Puskesmas Bajoe, Kabupaten Bone, dibagi menjadi dua kelompok intervensi, masing-masing 40 orang. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa kedua jenis latihan fisik tersebut signifikan dalam menurunkan kadar glukosa darah secara statistik (p < 0,05). Namun, Diabetic Foot Exercises menunjukkan penurunan kadar glukosa darah yang jauh lebih besar dan signifikan secara klinis (penurunan rata-rata ≈ 107,8 mg/dl) dibandingkan dengan Buerger Allen Exercise (penurunan rata-rata ≈ 33,7 mg/dl). Dengan demikian, DFE dianggap lebih efektif untuk tujuan penurunan glukosa darah jangka pendek, sementara BAE lebih unggul untuk pencegahan komplikasi vaskular jangka panjang.Downloads
