Abstract

Penelitian ini menyoroti masalah tingginya tingkat emisi karbon yang dihasilkan oleh pesawat udara saat berada di parking stand di Terminal 3 Bandar Udara Soekarno Hatta. Data yang dikumpulkan menunjukkan bahwa emisi karbon yang berasal dari pesawat yang terparkir memiliki dampak yang signifikan terhadap lingkungan sekitarnya dan ekosistem yang ada. Berbagai faktor seperti jenis pesawat, durasi parkir, dan frekuensi penerbangan berkontribusi pada tingkat emisi karbon yang tercatat. Dalam upaya mengurangi dampak negatif ini, beberapa solusi telah diajukan. Pertama, peningkatan efisiensi bahan bakar yang dapat dicapai melalui pengembangan teknologi mesin yang lebih efisien serta optimasi pemakaian bahan bakar saat pesawat berada di parking stand. Kedua, penggunaan bahan bakar alternatif seperti biofuel telah diidentifikasi sebagai langkah yang berpotensi mengurangi emisi karbon secara signifikan. Ketiga, perbaikan pada efisiensi sistem parkir pesawat dengan mengurangi waktu yang diperlukan untuk parkir serta memastikan bahwa pesawat parkir dengan aman dan efisien. Namun, implementasi solusi-solusi ini membutuhkan kerjasama yang erat antara industri penerbangan, pemerintah, dan masyarakat. Kolaborasi yang kuat ini diperlukan untuk memastikan bahwa tindakan yang diambil untuk mengurangi emisi karbon pesawat udara tidak hanya efektif, tetapi juga berkelanjutan dalam jangka panjang. Penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya adopsi penerbangan yang berkelanjutan dan ramah lingkungan sebagai langkah yang sangat diperlukan dalam menghadapi tantangan lingkungan global yang semakin mendesak.
