Abstract

Pada penelitian yang dilakukan peneliti disini memiliki tujuan melihat pengaruh kecemasan matematika terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Pendekatan pada penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif, dengan pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan angket dan observasi. Populasi penelitian ini siswa kelas XI SMAN 3 Cilegon. Teknik sampel yang digunakan simple random sampling dipilih seluruh kelas XI-MIPA yang terdiri dari 5 kelas dengan jumlah 180 siswa. Analisis data yang dipakai adalah teknik analisis inferensial uji pearson product moment. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwasanya terdapat pengaruh negatif (rendah) dan signifikan antara kecemasan matematika dengan hasil belajar kelas XI MIPA di SMAN 3 Cilegon. Dilihat nilai r yaitu sebesar 0,417 dan t hitung lebih besar dari t tabel yaitu 6,112 > 1,973 dengan taraf signifikansi 5%. Hal ini dapat diartikan pula apabila seorang siswa memiliki motivasi belajar dengan kategori tinggi, maka akan semakin rendah hasil belajar yang didapatkan siswa. Hal ini juga berlaku sebaliknya.
