Kajian ini membahas tentang upaya dalam meningkatkan keterampilan merangkai bunga artifisial bagi peserta didik tunagrahita kategori ringan melalui model direct instruction. Jenis penelitian yang dipakai adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Tempat penelitian dilaksanakan yaitu pada kelas IX di Sekolah Luar Biasa Bina Bangsa. Masalah yang mendasar dilaksanakan penelitian ini ialah adanya penurunan nilai pada peserta didik terhadap mata pelajaran keterampilan vokasional merangkai bunga artifisial, sehingga nilai berada di bawah rata-rata KKM yaitu 60. Peserta didik kurang terampil dalam merangkai dan menghias bunga tersebut. Penelitian tindakan kelas mempunyai dua siklus, menunjukkan bahwa nilai B 72% pada siklus I dan 80% pada siklus II. Peserta didik D mendapat nilai 75% pada siklus I dan 81% di siklus II. Sesuai data yang diperoleh, kesimpulan dari keterampilan merangkai bunga artifisial mengalami peningkatan yang signifikan melalui model direct instruction.Downloads
