HUBUNGAN FUNGSI KOGNITIF DENGAN ACTIVITY OF DAILY LIVING (ADL) PADA PENDERITA STROKE DI PUSKESMAS BOBOTSARI PURBALINGGA

Stroke merupakan salah satu gangguan neurologis yang menjadi penyebab utama disabilitas di dunia. Kondisi ini sering menimbulkan berbagai dampak, baik secara fisik maupun kognitif, yang pada akhirnya dapat memengaruhi kemampuan individu dalam menjalankan aktivitas sehari-hari atau Activity of Daily Living (ADL). Gangguan fungsi kognitif pada penderita stroke dapat menurunkan kemampuan berpikir, mengingat, memahami informasi, serta merencanakan tindakan, sehingga berpotensi meningkatkan ketergantungan penderita terhadap orang lain dalam melakukan aktivitas dasar sehari-hari. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara fungsi kognitif dengan kemampuan Activity of Daily Living (ADL) pada penderita stroke. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain korelasional dan metode cross-sectional. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 81 penderita stroke yang berada di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Bobotsari, Purbalingga. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode accidental sampling. Penilaian fungsi kognitif dilakukan menggunakan instrumen Montreal Cognitive Assessment versi Indonesia (MoCA-Ina), sedangkan kemampuan ADL diukur menggunakan Barthel Index. Analisis data untuk mengetahui hubungan antarvariabel dilakukan menggunakan uji korelasi Spearman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar responden mengalami gangguan fungsi kognitif sebanyak 80 orang (98,8%). Berdasarkan tingkat kemampuan ADL, mayoritas responden berada pada kategori ketergantungan sedang sebanyak 35 orang (43,2%), diikuti oleh kategori ketergantungan berat sebanyak 31 orang (38,3%). Hasil uji korelasi Spearman menunjukkan nilai koefisien korelasi (r) sebesar 0,161 dengan nilai signifikansi (p) sebesar 0,150 (p > 0,05). Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat hubungan yang bermakna secara statistik antara fungsi kognitif dan kemampuan Activity of Daily Living (ADL) pada penderita stroke di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Bobotsari, Purbalingga.References
