MEDIAL ARCH SUPPORT CUSTOM SEBAGAI KOREKSI BIOMEKANIK PADA ANAK PES PLANNUS

Pes plannus merupakan kelainan lengkung medial kaki yang dapat mengganggu fungsi biomekanik dan aktivitas berjalan pada anak usia sekolah. Gangguan ini berpotensi menurunkan stabilitas, efisiensi gerak, dan performa berjalan apabila tidak ditangani secara tepat. Salah satu intervensi konservatif yang digunakan adalah medial arch support. Namun, perbedaan efektivitas antara medial arch support custom dan produk standar masih memerlukan pembuktian ilmiah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran medial arch support custom dalam koreksi biomekanik pada anak dengan pes plannus. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain Randomized Controlled Trial dengan dua kelompok perlakuan. Populasi adalah anak usia 9-12 tahun dengan pes plannus di Kabupaten Karanganyar. Sampel sebanyak 80 anak dipilih menggunakan teknik simple random sampling dan dibagi menjadi kelompok medial arch support custom dan kelompok medial arch support standar. Variabel independen adalah jenis medial arch support, sedangkan variabel dependen adalah koreksi biomekanik yang diukur melalui tes sprint 40 meter sebagai indikator aktivitas berjalan. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan uji Kolmogorov-Smirnov, paired t-test, dan Mann-Whitney dengan tingkat signifikansi 0,05. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan performa berjalan pada kelompok medial arch support custom dibandingkan kelompok standar (p<0,05). Medial arch support custom lebih efektif dalam mendukung koreksi biomekanik kaki dan meningkatkan aktivitas berjalan pada anak dengan pes plannus.References
