PENERAPAN PURSED LIP BREATHING MENGGUNAKAN MEDIA TIUP BALON PADA ANAK DENGAN PNEUMONIA DAN POLA NAPAS TIDAK EFEKTIF: STUDI KASUS

Pneumonia merupakan salah satu penyebab utama gangguan respirasi pada anak yang dapat menimbulkan masalah keperawatan berupa pola napas tidak efektif akibat proses inflamasi paru dan peningkatan produksi sekret. Intervensi nonfarmakologis diperlukan untuk mendukung optimalisasi ventilasi dan mencegah perburukan kondisi respirasi. Studi kasus ini bertujuan untuk penerapan Evidence Based Nursing (EBN) dalam proses keperawatan ini adalah untuk memberikan gambaran mengenai terapi pursed lips breathing terhadap saturasi oksigen pada anak dengan pneumonia di bangsal anak ruagan Emputantular RSUD Kanjuruan. Metode yang digunakan adalah penerapan Evidence Based Nursing (EBN) dalam proses keperawatan. Jumlah sampel dalam penerapan Evidence Based Nursing (EBN) dalam proses keperawatan ini yaitu 1 anak dengan masalah Pneumonia. Subjek penelitian adalah seorang anak usia 1 tahun 7 bulan dengan diagnosis medis pneumonia.Berdasarkan Evidence Based Nursing (EBN) dalam proses keperawatan yang telah dilakukan, hasil secara keseluruhan selama 3 hari implementasi didapatkan bahwa terdapat perubahan setelah pemberian terapi pursed lips breathing terhadap status oksigenasi pada anak dengan pneumonia. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan adanya penurunan frekuensi napas dari 35 kali/menit menjadi 30 kali/menit setelah intervensi, dengan saturasi oksigen tetap stabil dalam batas normal. Intervensi ini membantu mengoptimalkan pola napas dan meningkatkan kenyamanan pasien. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa pursed lip breathing menggunakan media tiup balon efektif sebagai terapi pendukung dalam manajemen pola napas tidak efektif pada anak dengan pneumonia.References
