Abstract

Penyakit Paru Obstruksi Kronis (PPOK) merupakan penyakit inflamasi kronik saluran napas yang ditandai dengan hambatan aliran udara persisten dan bersifat progresif. Pasien PPOK sering mengalami eksaserbasi yang ditandai peningkatan gejala seperti sesak napas, batuk, dan produksi sputum, yang berdampak pada penurunan kapasitas fungsional serta kualitas hidup. Salah satu intervensi nonfarmakologis yang dapat dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas fungsional adalah Six Minute Walk Test yang dinilai melalui Six Minute Walking Distance (6MWD). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh 6MWD terhadap gejala eksaserbasi PPOK di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Garuda Kota Pekanbaru. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain quasi-eksperiment dengan pendekatan One Group Pretest–Posttest Design. Sampel berjumlah 19 responden PPOK yang dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan meliputi stopwatch digital, lintasan datar 30 meter, kursi istirahat, pulse oximeter portable, pedometer atau meteran, serta kuesioner COPD Assessment Test (CAT) yang telah tervalidasi. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan uji Wilcoxon. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata skor gejala eksaserbasi pretest sebesar 19,16 (SD 4,220) dan menurun pada posttest menjadi 13,00 (SD 3,333). Analisis bivariat menunjukkan nilai p=0,00 (<0,05), yang berarti terdapat pengaruh signifikan 6MWD terhadap penurunan gejala eksaserbasi PPOK. Disimpulkan bahwa intervensi berbasis 6MWD efektif dalam menurunkan gejala eksaserbasi pada pasien PPOK. Penelitian selanjutnya disarankan menambahkan penilaian keseimbangan berjalan sebagai variabel intervensi tambahan.
