GAMBARAN PENDERITA DIABETES MELITUS GESTASIONAL DI RSUD Dr. M.M DUNDA LIMBOTO

Diabetes Melitus Gestasional (DMG) merupakan gangguan toleransi glukosa yang pertama kali terdeteksi selama kehamilan dan berpotensi menimbulkan komplikasi pada ibu maupun janin. Data mengenai gambaran karakteristik penderita DMG di RSUD Dr. M.M Dunda Limboto masih terbatas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran penderita Diabetes Melitus Gestasional di RSUD Dr. M.M Dunda Limboto berdasarkan usia ibu, tingkat pendidikan, indeks massa tubuh (IMT), paritas, usia kehamilan saat diagnosis, dan komplikasi yang dialami ibu. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain deskriptif kuantitatif dengan pendekatan retrospektif. Variabel penelitian adalah penderita Diabetes Melitus Gestasional dengan subvariabel usia ibu, tingkat pendidikan, IMT, paritas, usia kehamilan, dan komplikasi. Populasi sekaligus sampel penelitian adalah seluruh ibu hamil yang terdiagnosis Diabetes Melitus Gestasional dan tercatat dalam rekam medis RSUD Dr. M.M Dunda Limboto periode Januari 2024-Mei 2025 sebanyak 22 responden, dengan teknik total sampling. Instrumen penelitian berupa lembar observasi data sekunder, dan analisis data dilakukan secara univariat dalam bentuk distribusi frekuensi dan persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar penderita DMG berada pada usia 20-35 tahun (54,5%), berpendidikan SD (40,9%), memiliki IMT obesitas (40,9%), dan berstatus multipara (54,5%). Mayoritas responden terdiagnosis pada trimester III kehamilan (77,3%). Komplikasi yang paling banyak ditemukan adalah preeklamsia (40,9%). Disimpulkan bahwa penderita DMG di RSUD Dr. M.M Dunda Limboto didominasi oleh ibu dengan usia reproduktif, pendidikan rendah, status gizi obesitas, dan diagnosis pada trimester akhir kehamilan. Diperlukan peningkatan skrining dan edukasi kesehatan untuk mencegah komplikasi DMG.References
