POTENSI TERAPEUTIK TANAMAN PACE (Morinda citrifolia L.) SEBAGAI HERBAL MULTIFUNGSI : SYSTEMATIC LITERATURE REVIEW

Penggunaan tanaman pace sebagai herbal multifungsi masih menghadapi berbagai kendala seperti variasi hasil penelitian, banyaknya fokus pada studi pra-klinis, serta kurangnya sintesis ilmiah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi secara sistematis aktivitas farmakologis, kandungan fitokimia, metode ekstraksi, dan potensi terapeutik tanaman pace berdasarkan bukti ilmiah terkini metode yang digunakan adalah Systematic Literature Review (SLR) dengan pedoman PRISMA 2020, meliputi tahap identifikasi, skrining, penilaian kelayakan, dan inklusi artikel. Pencarian literatur dilakukan melalui database Scopus, PubMed, dan Google Scholar menggunakan kata kunci ("Morinda citrifolia" OR "pharmacological) AND ("therapeutic" OR "bioactive compounds") terhadap 10 artikel yang memenuhi syarat terdiri dari 3 in vivo, 3 in vitro, 2 eksperimental fitokimia, 2 eksperimental terapan dengan penyebaran negara antara lain Arab Saudi, Indonesia, Korea Selatan, India, Jepang, Brazil, dan Cina, diterbitkan antara tahun 2016–2026. Hasil analisis literatur menunjukkan bahwa buah, daun, dan biji pace mengandung senyawa bioaktif seperti iridoid, flavonoid, polifenol, skopoletin, dan polisakarida. Senyawa tersebut memiliki manfaat farmakologis, antara lain: menangkal radikal bebas, mengurangi peradangan, membantu pengendalian diabetes, meningkatkan daya tahan tubuh. Kesimpulannya berdasarkan bukti terkini, tanaman pace memiliki potensi terapeutik signifikan sebagai herbal multifungsi. Namun, untuk memastikan efektivitas dan keamanan penggunaannya secara medis, diperlukan penelitian lanjutan dengan uji klinis yang ketat serta standarisasi produk herbal.References
