PENGARUH GENDER, LATAR BELAKANG PENDIDIKAN, USIA DAN LAMA BEKERJA TERHADAP KEPUASAN BEKERJA DAN KINERJA PEGAWAI

Kepuasan kerja dan kinerja pegawai merupakan aspek penting bagi efektivitas dan efisiensi operasional rumah sakit, terutama dalam menjaga mutu pelayanan kepada pasien. Faktor demografis seperti gender, usia, pendidikan, dan lama bekerja diperkirakan mempengaruhi kedua aspek tersebut, namun kajian komprehensif di rumah sakit swasta daerah masih terbatas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh gender, pendidikan, usia, dan lama bekerja terhadap kepuasan kerja dan kinerja pegawai di RS Prima Pekanbaru dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Data diperoleh dari 224 pegawai melalui kuesioner. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa gender tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja, tetapi berpengaruh terhadap dimensi contextual performance, di mana laki-laki memiliki skor lebih tinggi. Tingkat pendidikan tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan maupun kinerja. Usia juga tidak berpengaruh signifikan, meskipun kelompok usia 40–49 tahun cenderung memiliki performa tugas lebih tinggi secara deskriptif. Lama bekerja tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan maupun kinerja, meskipun pegawai dengan masa kerja 5–10 tahun memiliki rata-rata kepuasan sedikit lebih tinggi dibandingkan yang bekerja <5 tahun. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa secara keseluruhan, faktor demografis menunjukkan pengaruh yang bervariasi namun cenderung tidak signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja maupun kinerja pegawai. Temuan ini menekankan pentingnya strategi manajemen sumber daya manusia yang fokus pada pengembangan kompetensi, penciptaan lingkungan kerja yang kondusif, serta optimalisasi peran sosial pegawai untuk meningkatkan produktivitas.References
