PRAKTIK PEMBERIAN ASI EKSKLUSIF PADA BAYI 0–6 BULAN TERHADAP KEJADIAN STUNTING DI KABUPATEN MAROS

Stunting merupakan gangguan pertumbuhan linear pada balita yang berdampak pada perkembangan fisik dan kognitif anak. Rendahnya praktik pemberian ASI eksklusif masih menjadi permasalahan kesehatan masyarakat di Indonesia, termasuk di Kabupaten Maros. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis praktik pemberian ASI eksklusif pada bayi usia 0–6 bulan terhadap kejadian stunting. Populasi penelitian adalah ibu yang memiliki bayi usia 0–6 bulan di wilayah lokus stunting Kabupaten Maros dengan jumlah informan sebanyak 40 orang yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis secara tematik untuk menggambarkan praktik pemberian ASI eksklusif dan faktor-faktor yang memengaruhinya. Faktor pendidikan, pekerjaan ibu, tingkat pengetahuan, promosi susu formula, serta dukungan keluarga berpengaruh terhadap keberhasilan pemberian ASI eksklusif. pengetahuan ibu dan kuatnya faktor sosial budaya menjadi hambatan utama dalam praktik pemberian ASI eksklusif, sehingga diperlukan peningkatan edukasi, pendampingan tenaga kesehatan, dan dukungan keluarga untuk meningkatkan cakupan ASI eksklusif.References
