EFEKTIVITAS EDUKASI KESEHATAN BERBASIS DIGITAL TERHADAP PENGETAHUAN KESEHATAN IBU HAMIL DAN IBU MENYUSUI

During pregnancy and lactation, individuals undergo numerous physical, psychological, and social changes. Health education serves as a persuasive strategy or learning effort aimed at empowering the community to take proactive measures in maintaining and enhancing their health. Educational media plays a crucial role in forming an individual's knowledge base, which subsequently influences their health behaviors and actions.The objective of this study was to assess the effectiveness of digital-based health education on the health knowledge of pregnant and lactating mothers.The study employed a pre-experimental design using a one-group pretest-posttest design. The population and sample comprised 6 pregnant mothers and 6 lactating mothers residing in Pagerwesi Village, Trucuk District, Bojonegoro Regency, East Java. Total population sampling was utilized as the sampling technique.The research variables consisted of the independent variable, defined as the effectiveness of digital-based health education media, and the dependent variable, which was the health knowledge of pregnant and lactating mothers. Data collection instruments included educational video media and pretest and posttest questionnaires. Data analysis was conducted using SPSS with the Wilcoxon Signed-Rank Test.The results indicated a p-value of 0.034 for the pregnant mothers and 0.020 for the lactating mothers. These findings suggest that digital-based health education is effective in improving the knowledge of both pregnant and lactating mothers. The implementation of digital-based health education, particularly through educational video media, can stimulate multiple senses, thereby effectively enhancing memory retention and leading to a more optimal increase in knowledgeReferences
