LITERATURE REVIEW : PENGARUH ANKYLOGLOSSIA TERHADAP MASALAH MENYUSU PADA BAYI

Ankyloglossia, atau dikenal sebagai tongue-tie, merupakan kelainan bawaan yang ditandai dengan pendek atau kakunya frenulum lingualis, sehingga menghambat pergerakan lidah. Kondisi ini dapat berdampak pada berbagai fungsi oral, terutama pada kemampuan bayi dalam melakukan pelekatan yang efektif saat menyusu dan berpotensi menyebabkan berbagai masalah menyusu. Kesulitan menyusu ini tidak hanya berdampak pada asupan nutrisi bayi, tetapi juga dapat menimbulkan stres pada ibu, nyeri puting, dan menurunnya durasi serta keberhasilan menyusui eksklusif, yang pada akhirnya dapat memengaruhi tumbuh kembang bayi secara keseluruhan. Literature review ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi bukti ilmiah mengenai pengaruh ankyloglossia terhadap proses menyusui pada bayi. Penulisan artikel ini menggunakan telaah pustaka dengan cara pencarian, evaluasi, analisis, dan penyelidikan sumber data yang berkaitan dengan isu penulisan artikel. Penelusuran literatur dilakukan melalui database Google Scholar pada artikel yang telah dipublikasikan antara tahun 2015 sampai dengan tahun 2025. Berdasarkan hasil penelusuran mayoritas studi menunjukkan bahwa ankyloglossia memiliki hubungan yang signifikan dengan kesulitan menyusu pada bayi, termasuk masalah hisapan, pelekatan, serta keluhan ibu seperti nyeri puting. Tindakan frenotomi dilaporkan secara konsisten dapat meningkatkan kualitas menyusui, mengurangi rasa sakit pada ibu, dan memperbaiki efisiensi pemberian ASI. Ankyloglossia terbukti berdampak negatif terhadap proses menyusui. Deteksi dini dan intervensi yang tepat, seperti frenotomi, dapat meningkatkan keberhasilan menyusui dan kenyamanan ibu-bayi.References
