META ANALISIS: EFEKTIVITAS JAHE TERHADAP PENURUNAN NYERI HAID

Menstruasi biasanya berlangsung selama 5-7 hari setiap bulannya. Ketika menstruasi, ada beberapa wanita yang mengeluhkan nyeri haid atau dismenore. Salah satu penanganan yang bisa dilakukan untuk mengurangi nyeri haid yaitu dengan mengonsumsi minuman herbal. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tingkat efektivitas jahe terhadap penurunan nyeri haid pada wanita. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain systematic review dan meta analisis. Database yang digunakan adalah: PubMed, SpringerLink, Google Scholar, Sciencedirect, dan Hindawi. Kata kunci pencarian adalah: “ginger” OR “zingiber officinale” AND “pain reduction” OR “pain decrease” AND "dysmenorrhea" OR “menstrual pain” AND “randomized controlled trial” OR “RCT”. Pencarian artikel dilakukan dengan kriteria PICO. Population: pasien nyeri haid atau dismenore. Intervention: mengonsumsi minuman jahe. Comparison: tidak mengonsumsi minuman jahe. Outcome: penurunan nyeri. Kemudian artikel disaring sesuai kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi serta dianalisis menggunakan RevMan 5.3. 10 artikel yang dianalisis menunjukkan hasil bahwa seseorang dengan nyeri haid yang rutin mengonsumsi jahe memiliki rata-rata skor nyeri -0.69 lebih rendah dibandingan dengan yang tidak mengonsumsi minuman jahe (SMD= -0.69; 95% CI= -1.18 hingga -0.20; p= 0.06). Kesimpulannya adalah jahe efektif dalam menurunkan nyeri haid pada wanita.References
