Abstract

Peningkatan penggunaan ganja di kalangan remaja merupakan masalah global dan nasional yang serius. Data menunjukkan prevalensi penyalahgunaan narkoba di Indonesia mencapai 1,80% pada tahun 2019. Kurangnya pengetahuan dan pengaruh teman sebaya menjadi faktor pendorong utama. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tingkat pengetahuan siswa SMA Negeri 1 Jayapura mengenai dampak penyalahgunaan ganja. Penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain cross-sectional dilakukan pada 42 siswa SMA Negeri 1 Jayapura. Sampel dipilih menggunakan purposive sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner terstruktur yang mencakup sepuluh pertanyaan dan dianalisis menggunakan perangkat lunak SPSS 24. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar responden (57,1%) telah mendapatkan paparan informasi awal yang baik tentang dampak ganja, meskipun mayoritas (52,4%) menyatakan tidak mendapatkan informasi dari sumber yang tepat. Pengetahuan siswa cukup baik terkait dampak ganja pada kemampuan belajar (90,5%) dan risiko gangguan kejiwaan (76,2%). Namun, pengetahuan mengenai organ tubuh yang rusak akibat ganja masih rendah, dengan 42,9% responden mendapatkan poin nol. Secara keseluruhan, tingkat pengetahuan siswa SMA Negeri 1 Jayapura tentang dampak penyalahgunaan ganja bervariasi, dengan pemahaman yang baik pada aspek tertentu namun masih terdapat kesenjangan signifikan, terutama terkait sumber informasi dan organ tubuh yang terdampak. Hal ini menegaskan perlunya strategi edukasi yang lebih efektif dan terarah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan serta partisipasi siswa dalam program pencegahan penyalahgunaan ganja.
