Analisis Risiko Ekologis Arsen (As) pada Sedimen dan Kerang di Teluk Manado

Teluk Manado merupakan kawasan pesisir yang memiliki nilai ekologis dan ekonomi tinggi namun berisiko mengalami pencemaran logam berat, termasuk arsen (As), akibat aktivitas antropogenik seperti limbah domestik, industri, dan aliran sungai. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis risiko ekologis arsen pada sedimen dan kerang di Teluk Manado. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif melalui survei lapangan dan analisis laboratorium. Sampel sedimen dan kerang dikumpulkan dari 10 titik lokasi. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata konsentrasi arsen pada sedimen sebesar 0,79 mg/kg dan pada kerang sebesar 1,24 mg/kg. Nilai Ecological Risk (Er) yang diperoleh adalah 9,94, termasuk dalam kategori risiko ekologis rendah (Er < 40). Sementara itu, nilai Pollution Load Index (PLI) sebesar 0,9382 menunjukkan bahwa sedimen tergolong tidak tercemar (PLI < 1). Namun, satu titik sampel kerang memiliki kandungan arsen melebihi ambang batas SNI 7387:2009 sebesar 1,0 mg/kg. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini Ecological Risk (Er) dapat diketahui bahwa < 40 yaitu potensial risiko ekologis rendah. Untuk perhitungan Polution Load Index (PLI) adalah 0,9382 merupakan dibawah < 1 dengan keterangan tidak ada polusi. Kandungan kadar Arsen (As) pada sedimen di 10 titik di Teluk Manado masih memenuhi syarat berdasarkan pedoman dari National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) kualitas sedimen dievaluasi menggunakan Sediment Quality Guidelines (SQGs) yakni 7,24 mg/kg. Kandungan kadar Arsen (As) pada kerang kerang kepah, kerang tiram batu (Saccostrea Echinata), dan kerang kepah di 3 titik di Teluk Manado, terdapat 1 titik yang telah melebihi ambang batas berdasarkan peraturan Standar Nasional Indonesia 7387:2009, batas maksimum cemaran logam berat arsen (As) dalam pangan kekerangan (Bivalve) moluska adalah 1.0 mg/kg.References
