PENGALAMAN PASIEN HIPERTENSI GRADE II KOMPLIKASI DM TIPE 1 MENGHADAPI RESIKO KEDARURATAN: STUDI FENOMENOLOGIS DI KLINIK LESTARI ASIH TANGERANG

Hipertensi grade II dengan komplikasi diabetes melitus tipe 1 merupakan masalah kesehatan kronis yang berdampak luas pada aspek fisik, emosional, sosial, dan spiritual pasien. Kondisi ini meningkatkan risiko komplikasi akut dan kronis yang memerlukan penanganan medis jangka panjang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi pengalaman pasien dalam menghadapi risiko kedaruratan akibat hipertensi grade II dan diabetes melitus tipe 1, serta memahami strategi adaptasi yang mereka gunakan. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain fenomenologi deskriptif. Partisipan dipilih secara purposive sebanyak 15 orang yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam semi terstruktur dan dianalisis menggunakan metode Colaizzi. Keabsahan data dijaga melalui member checking, triangulasi, audit trail, dan konfirmasi pernyataan partisipan. Hasil penelitian menghasilkan empat tema utama: (1) pengalaman fisik, emosional, sosial, dan spiritual; (2) persepsi risiko kedaruratan; (3) strategi adaptasi harian; dan (4) makna hidup dari pengalaman penyakit. Pasien melaporkan gejala fisik seperti kelelahan, pusing, dan keterbatasan aktivitas, disertai respons emosional mulai dari kecemasan hingga penerimaan. Sebagian menyadari tanda-tanda darurat dan mempersiapkan diri, sementara lainnya kurang siap karena minim edukasi. Strategi adaptasi mencakup pengendalian medis, modifikasi gaya hidup, serta dukungan spiritual. Kesimpulan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengalaman pasien bersifat multidimensional, menekankan perlunya pendekatan holistik yang tidak hanya fokus pada aspek medis, tetapi juga memperhatikan dimensi emosional, sosial, spiritual, edukasi kesehatan, strategi adaptasi, dan makna hidup untuk meningkatkan kualitas hidup pasien.References
