HUBUNGAN ANTARA LITERASI KESEHATAN MENTAL DENGAN STIGMA GANGGUAN JIWA PADA MAHASISWA KEPERAWATAN

Stigma terhadap gangguan jiwa masih menjadi tantangan besar dalam upaya promosi kesehatan mental, termasuk di lingkungan akademik. Mahasiswa keperawatan, sebagai calon tenaga kesehatan, memiliki peran penting dalam memberikan edukasi dan pelayanan keperawatan jiwa. Oleh karena itu, diharapkan mereka memiliki pemahaman dan sikap yang positif terhadap individu dengan gangguan jiwa. Salah satu faktor yang diyakini dapat memengaruhi stigma tersebut adalah literasi kesehatan mental, yaitu kemampuan individu dalam mengakses, memahami, dan menggunakan informasi kesehatan mental untuk membuat keputusan yang tepat. Namun, tingkat pengetahuan belum tentu selalu sejalan dengan sikap yang ditunjukkan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi hubungan antara literasi kesehatan mental dengan stigma gangguan jiwa pada mahasiswa keperawatan Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif korelasional dengan pendekatan cross-sectional, Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik proporsional random sampling dengan mengambil sampel sebanyak 77 mahasiswa. Instrumen penelitian untuk variable literasi kesehatan mental menggunakan Mental Health Literacy Questionnaire-Short version adult (MHLq-Sva) yang disusun oleh Campos et al. (2022) dan variabel stigma gangguan jiwa menggunakan Perceived-Devaluation Discrimination oleh Mora‑Ríos dan Ortega (2021). Berdasarkan analisis korelasi Spearman diperoleh hasil P-Value = 0.584 (p>0,05) yang menunjukkan bahwa Ho diterima dan H1 ditolak, yang menunjukkan tidak ada hubungan yang signifikan antara literasi kesehatan mental dengan stigma gangguan jiwa.References
