PENGARUH KEBIASAAN KONSUMSI ULTRA-PROCESSED FOOD TERHADAP STATUS GIZI DAN KUALITAS TIDUR REMAJA

Ultra Processed Foods (UPF) secara global muncul pada hampir setiap diet yang dikonsumsi masyarakat khususnya pada kelompok remaja. Makanan yang dikonsumsi remaja sebagian besar tergolong UPF mengandung tinggi kalori maupun tinggi garam sehingga berpotensi memberikan berbagai dampak kesehatan yang buruk diantaranya meningkatkan risiko penyakit yang akan berdampak pada kualitas hidup dan potensi risiko munculnya berbagai penyakit tidak menular yang berhubungan dengan gizi (Nutritional Related - Non Communicable Disease). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan antara kebiasaan konsumsi UPF dengan status gizi dan kualitas tidur pada remaja. Penelitian ini tergolong jenis penelitian analitik dengan desain observasional dan menggunakan pendekatan cross-sectional. Subyek penelitian berjumlah 60 orang siswa yang berasal dari SMP Negeri 2 Langowan Kabupaten Minahasa. Dalam penelitian ini akan dilakukan pengumpulan data meliputi data kebiasaan konsumsi UPF yang diperoleh menggunakan FFQ, data status gizi yang diperoleh menggunakan metode antropometri dengan penilaian menggunakan indeks IMT/U, data kualitas tidur yang diperoleh menggunakan Pittsburg Sleep Quality Index (PSQI). Sebagian besar responden sering mengonsumsi bahan makanan UPF (80%) dan memiliki status gizi kurang (5%), status gizi normal (76,7%), overweight sebesar 10% serta obesitas sebesar 8,3%. Sebanyak 65% subyek penelitian memiliki kualitas tidur yang baik. Terdapat hubungan antara kebiasaan konsumsi UPF dengan status gizi pada remaja (p=0,037). Kebiasaan konsumsi UPF secara statistik tidak memiliki hubungan dengan kualitas tidur pada remaja (p=0,074).References
