PENGARUH EDUKASI PERSONAL HYGIENE TERHADAP PENGETAHUAN DAN KEJADIAN INFEKSI SALURAN KEMIH PADA IBU HAMIL DI WILAYAH PUSKESMAS SEKIP PALEMBANG

Latar Belakang: Infeksi Saluran Kemih (ISK) merupakan komplikasi umum yang dapat terjadi selama kehamilan akibat perubahan hormonal dan anatomi yang memengaruhi sistem urogenital ibu. Salah satu faktor risiko utama adalah kurangnya pengetahuan ibu hamil mengenai personal hygiene yang benar. Tujuan: untuk mengetahui pengaruh edukasi personal hygiene terhadap kejadian ISK pada ibu hamil di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Sekip Palembang. Metode : Penelitian ini menggunakan desain pre-eksperimental dengan pendekatan one group pretest-posttest. Sampel berjumlah 51 ibu hamil yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan meliputi kuesioner pengetahuan dan format pencatatan kejadian ISK. Intervensi edukasi diberikan dalam bentuk booklet dan sesi penyuluhan. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji Paired t-test untuk pengetahuan dan McNemar test untuk kejadian ISK. Hasil: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat peningkatan yang signifikan pada pengetahuan ibu hamil setelah edukasi (p=0,000), serta penurunan kejadian ISK secara signifikan (p=0,022) setelah intervensi. Kesimpulan: Dapat disimpulkan bahwa edukasi personal hygiene efektif dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan dan menurunkan kejadian ISK pada ibu hamil. Edukasi ini perlu dijadikan program rutin dalam pelayanan antenatal care untuk meningkatkan kualitas kesehatan ibu selama kehamilan. Saran: Sebaiknya puskesmas secara aktif memberikan pencegahan ISK pada ibu hamil.References
