Kata kunci: kanker, kualitas hidup, spiritual well-being ABSTRACT Poor quality of life in cancer patients can be caused by the disease itself or side effects of the therapy. Quality of life can be affected by various factors, including spiritual well-being. Research on spiritual well-being has been growing over the past few decades; however, the relationship between spiritual well-being and the quality of life in the context of cancer patients has not been explored extensively. This study aims to investigate the relationship between spiritual well-being and the quality of life in cancer patients. This research article is a literature review. An article search was conducted in PubMed and Science Direct, using the keywords "Spiritual Well-Being," "Quality of Life," and "Cancer" from journals published between 2014 and 2024. Studies were selected if they discussed the relationship between spiritual well-being and the quality of life in cancer patients, peer-reviewed, and published in English. A total of 21 articles with 6335 cancer patients as subjects selected for the analysis. The most used instruments to assess spiritual well-being were FACIT-Sp-12 (N = 8) and FACIT-Sp (N = 8), and for quality of life, FACT–G (N = 10). A significant relationship was found between spiritual well-being and quality of life in cancer patients, in terms of total scores, the relationship between total scores and domains, and the relationship between domains. Improved spiritual well-being results in a higher quality of life. Spiritual well-being can be considered in cancer care strategies to improve the patient's quality of life.
