HUBUNGAN AKTIVITAS FISIK DALAM MENURUNKAN RISIKO STROKE PADA LANSIA: literature review

Stroke adalah gangguan fungsi saraf lokal dan global yang muncul secara mendadak, bersifat progresif, dan cepat, serta disebabkan oleh gangguan peredaran darah otak yang non traumatik. Tujuannya untuk mengkaji dan menganalisis hubungan antara aktivitas fisik dengan penurunan risiko stroke pada lansia berdasarkan hasil-hasil penelitian yang telah ada. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah literature review. Penelusuran dilakukan dengan menggunakan database yaitu Google Scholar dan PubMed. Kriteria inklusi meliputi publikasi dalam sepuluh tahun terakhir, berfokus pada hubungan aktivitas fisik dan penurunan risiko stroke pada lansia. Terdapat hubungan antara Tingkat aktivitas fisik dengan penurunan risiko stroke pada lansia. Aktivitas fisik sedang hingga berat lebih efektif untuk menurunkan risiko stroke pada lansia. Kajian ini menunjukkan bahwa lansia yang aktif secara fisik lebih rendah untuk mengalami stroke dibandingkan dengan mereka yang tidak aktif.References
