EFEKTIVITAS PULSE OXIMETRY SEBAGAI SKRINING PENYAKIT JANTUNG BAWAAN KRITIS BAYI BARU LAHIR : LITERATUR REVIEW

Penyakit jantung bawaan (PJB) kritis merupakan salah satu klasifikasi dari PJB yaitu malformasi struktur jantung sejak lahir dan memerlukan intervensi segera dalam satu tahun kehidupan. Penyakit ini dapat dideteksi menggunakan pulse oximetry screening. Literature review ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas pulse oximetry screening dalam skrining PJB kritis pada bayi baru lahir. Sumber data yang digunakan adalah original article, original investigation, dan original research mengenai efektivitas pulse oximetry screening untuk mendeteksi PJB kritis pada bayi baru lahir. Artikel berbahasa Inggris, menggunakan e-database dari Pubmed, Proquest, dan ScienceDirect. Artikel dilakukan ekstraksi data, item data, dan sintesis hasil untuk menjawab tujuan penelitian. Ada 8 artikel yang telah ditelaah, didapatkan bahwa pulse oximetry screening memiliki sensitivitas dan spesifisitas yang cukup tinggi pada beberapa penelitian. Usia bayi baru lahir menentukan hasil penelitian ini. Terdapat penelitian yang melakukan skrining pada usia < 12 jam, 12-24 jam, dan 24-48 jam. Selain itu, berbagai jenis PJB kritis dapat dideteksi melalui pulse oximetry dan pemeriksaan ekokardiografi. Pemeriksaan laboratorium dan USG dapat menjadi pemeriksaan penunjang jika didapatkan hasil negatif pada pulse oximetry screening untuk menyingkirkan penyebab infeksi. Pulse oximetry screening efektif sebagai deteksi dini PJB kritis. Hal ini diketahui dari angka sensitivitas dan spesifitas yang tinggi pada skrining ini. Dan jenis-jenis PJB kritis dapat diketahui dengan pemeriksaan ekokardiografi.References
