Abstract

Pemberian ASI eksklusif sebagai makanan utama bayi berusia 0-6 bulan, tanpa penambahan makanan atau minuman lain, penting dilakukan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan nutrisi bayi, mencegah infeksi kuman penyakit, dan kematian pada bayi., Puskesmas Sinama Nenek di Kabupaten Kampar memiliki cakupan ASI Eksklusif sebesar 45,7%. Cakupan ini belum mencapai target nasional sebesar 80%. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara breastfeeding self- efficacy, peran ayah, dan tradisi keluarga terhadap pemberian ASI eksklusif pada ibu menyusui di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Sinama Nenek, Kabupaten Kampar. Penelitian ini dengan desain cross sectiona). Subyek penelitian adalah ibu memiliki bayi berusia 6-12 bulan di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Sinama Nenek, kabupaten Kampar. Populasi ibu yang memiliki bayi usia 6 sampai 12 bulan berjumlah 80 orang. Teknik pengambilan Sampel menggunakan teknik total populasi yaitu sebanyak 80 sampel. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menyebarkan kuesioner. Varibel independen yaitu breastfeeding self-efficacy, peran ayah, tradisi keluarga, dengan pemberian ASI eksklusif. Analisa data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis Univariat dan Bivariat. Hasil menunjukkan adanya hubungan antara breastfeeding self-efficacy (BSE) (p=0,000) dan peran ayah (p=0,027) dengan pemberian ASI eksklusif, sedangkan tradisi keluarga tidak menunjukkan hubungan bermakna (p=0,297). Diharapkan kepada ayah dan keluarga memberikan dukungan kepada ibu tentang pemberian ASI Eksklusif pada bayi usia 0-6 bulan.
