Masa post partum merupakan fase kritis yang dialami ibu setelah melahirkan, ditandai oleh berbagai perubahan fisiologis termasuk kontraksi uterus yang dapat menimbulkan nyeri hebat. Penanganan nyeri yang efektif diperlukan guna meningkatkan kenyamanan dan mempercepat pemulihan ibu. Salah satu pendekatan non-farmakologis yang mulai banyak digunakan adalah teknik massage effleurage, yaitu metode pijat ringan yang bertujuan memberikan relaksasi dan menurunkan intensitas nyeri melalui stimulasi saraf dan peningkatan hormon endorfin. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas teknik massage effleurage dalam menurunkan skala nyeri kontraksi uterus pada pasien post partum hari pertama. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain studi kasus pada dua pasien post partum yang dirawat di RSUD Jendral Ahmad Yani Metro. Pengukuran nyeri dilakukan menggunakan Numeric Rating Scale (NRS), dan intervensi diberikan selama 3 hari berturut-turut, masing-masing selama 15 menit per hari. Hasil pengkajian menunjukkan bahwa skala nyeri pasien pertama turun dari 6 menjadi 3, dan pasien kedua dari 7 menjadi 2 setelah intervensi. Hasil ini menunjukkan adanya penurunan signifikan pada intensitas nyeri yang dirasakan. Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa teknik massage effleurage terbukti efektif sebagai terapi non-farmakologis untuk menurunkan nyeri kontraksi uterus pada masa post partum awal. Intervensi ini direkomendasikan untuk diintegrasikan dalam praktik keperawatan post partum sebagai bagian dari standar pelayanan keperawatan yang holistik dan berbasis bukti.References
