GAMBARAN KEBUTUHAN PERAWATAN SUPORTIF PADA PASIEN KANKER STADIUM LANJUT YANG MENJALANI RAWAT INAP

Pasien dengan diagnosa kanker akan menimbulkan beberapa gejala yang diakibatkan oleh penyakit kanker dan proses pengobatan yang mana gejala dari penyakit kanker ini dapat menimbulkan permasalahan bagi pasien kanker. Pasien kanker stadium lanjut mengalami lebih banyak masalah akibat perkembangan penyakit yang berdampak negatif terhadap kualitas hidupnya sehingga mempengaruhi pasien dalam memenuhi kebutuhannya sehari-harinya. Pasien kanker stadium lanjut membutuhkan perawatan suportif sesuai dengan kebutuhan dalam mengatasi masalah yang timbul akibat penyakit kanker. Oleh karena itu, dibutuhkan gambaran kebutuhan perawatan suportif pada pasien kanker stadium lanjut yang menjalani rawat inap. Metode penelitian yang digunakan kuantitatif dengan desain deskriptif observasional. Sampel penelitian ini adalah pasien kanker dewasa stadium lanjut yang menjalani rawat inap sebanyak 96 orang dengan teknik purposive sampling. Prosedur pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan kuesioner SCNS-SF34 yang telah dilakukan uji valid (0,525-0,889, kuesioner valid) dan uji reliabel (0,972, kuesioner reliabel). Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis univariat menggunakan distribusi frekuensi dengan aplikasi SPSS-20 dan Microsoft Excel 2013. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa sebagian besar (95,83%) pasien kanker stadium lanjut yang menjalani rawat inap di RSUD Arifin Achmad Pekanbaru membutuhkan bantuan perawatan suportif pada domain fisik (76,05%), domain psikologi (69,79%), domain dukungan dan perawatan (67,71%), domain sistem dan informasi kesehatan (68,75%), dan tidak membutuhkan bantuan pada domain seksualitas (80,21%). Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah pasien kanker stadium lanjut yang menjalani rawat inap di RSUD Arifin Achmad Pekanbaru sebagian besar membutuhkan bantuan perawatan suportif oleh tenaga profesional.References
