PEMANFAATAN CONTINUOUS GLUCOSE MONITORING (CGM) UNTUK MENGOPTIMALKAN MANAJEMEN DIABETES DAN KUALITAS HIDUP PASIEN: SYSTEMATIC LITERATURE REVIEW

Diabetes merupakan masalah kesehatan yang banyak terjadi pada masyarakat Indonesia. Oleh karena itu perlu penanganan secara efektif untuk menghindari komplikasi lebih lanjut. Teknologi Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) memungkinkan untuk memantau kadar gula darah secara real time, sehingga membantu pasien mengelola diabetes dan kualitas hidup. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas dan manfaat CGM dalam mengoptimalkan manajemen diabetes serta kualitas hidup pasien. Metode yang digunakan yaitu Systematic Literature Review (SLR) dengan pendekatan PRISMA. Artikel diperoleh dari database PubMed, Sciencedirect, dan Semantic Scholar yang relevan dalam rentang waktu 2020-2025. Dari 6428 artikel yang teridentifikasi, setelah penyaringan terdapat 10 jurnal yang sesuai dengan kriteria inklusi. Tinjauan sistematis ini mengungkapkan bahwa CGM dapat memperbaiki manajemen glukosa, menurunkan hipoglikemia, dan meningkatkan efektivitas terapi. CGM juga bermanfaat bagi ibu hamil dengan diabetes gestasional dan pasien dengan gangguan penglihatan. Selain itu, CGM lebih efektif dibandingkan dengan SMBG dalam kontrol glikemik dan kenyamanan pasien, meskipun biayanya lebih tinggi. Namun, dalam kasus tertentu seperti diabetes gestasional ringan, SMBG masih menjadi alternatif dengan biaya lebih rendah. Terdapat hambatan dalam penggunaan professional Continuous Glucose Monitoring (pCGM) yaitu risiko hipoglikemia yang tidak berkurang drastis, serta kesulitan mengunduh data berbasis cloud, sehingga diperlukan kolaborasi dengan tim IT. Teknologi CGM terbukti efektif dalam mengelola kadar glukosa dan kualitas hidup pasien diabetes. Meskipun masih terdapat tantangan dalam implementasi teknologi ini yang perlu mendapat dukungan dan integrasi sistem layanan kesehatan.References
