HUBUNGAN TINGKAT KECERDASAN EMOSIONAL DENGAN PERILAKU BULLYING PADA REMAJA DI SMA AL-CHASANAH JAKARTA BARAT

Abstract

Kecerdasan emosional merupakan kemampuan dalam mengenali perasaan diri sendiri serta orang lain secara tepat. Perilaku bullying merupakan perilaku agresif dan berulang yang dilakukan dengan tujuan menyakiti korban yang lebih lemah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi hubungan kecerdasan emosional dengan perilaku bullying pada remaja di SMA Al-Chasanah Jakarta Barat. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian  kuantitatif dengan desain analitik korelasional. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode purposive sampling, populasi dalam  penelitian sebanyak 154 yang berasal dari kelas XI dan XII dengan jumlah sampel pada penelitian ini sebanyak 61 responden. Intrument yang digunakan adalah lembar kuisioner kecerdasan emosional dan kuisioner perilaku bullying. Hasil uji statistik chi square menunjukkan nilai p value = 0,078, dimana a > 0.05. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan tidak ada hubungan antara tingkat kecerdasan emosional dengan perilaku bullying pada remaja di SMA Al-Chasanh Jakarta Barat. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, diharapkan  penelitian ini dapat menjadi refrensi selanjutnya.
