Abstract

Sengatan ubur-ubur merupakan kasus tahunan di Indonesia, dimana setiap tahun hampir selalu ada laporan kasus sengatan terhadap pengunjung pantai di berbagai daerah.  Sengatan yang dilaporkan memiliki luaran yang bervariasi, sebagian besar pasien selamat berkat penanganan yang cepat dan adekuat oleh petugas pantai, namun terdapat juga laporan sengatan ubur-ubur yang menyebabkan korban harus mendapat perawatan intensif di ICU. Pengetahuan umum mengenai morfologi ubur-ubur, tindakan pencegahan dan penanganan sengatan sangat baik jika dikuasai oleh masyarakat, sehingga dapat mencegah kejadian parah akibat sengatn ubur-ubur. Artikel ini dibuat dengan tujuan untuk memberikan informasi mengenai sengatan ubur-ubur, seperti klasifikasi ubur-ubur yang berpotensi menimbulkan sengatan di daerah perairan Indonesia, manifestasi klinis yang mungkin muncul, dan terutama tatalaksana yang dapat dilakukan pada kasus sengatan ubur-ubur. Penelitian ini berjenis tinjauan pustaka naratif, dengan analisa deskriptif untuk menghimpun, menganalisa, dan menyusun data dari literatur yang digunakan sebagai referensi. Lokasi penelitian tidak ditetapkan secara spesifik, namun literatur yang menggunakan lokasi di perairan Indo Pasifik  diutamakan untuk digunakan sebagai referensi. Literatur didapatkan dari database elektronik seperti PubMed, Google Schoolar, Nature, PMC, MDPI, Wiley, dan ScienceDirect. Pencarian dilakukan dengan kata kunci “jellyfish envenomation”, “jellyfish sting”, “physalia physalis” , “jellyfish toxin”, “clinical manifestastation of jellyfish sting” dan “treatment of jellyfish sting”. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat variasi dan perbedaan efek tatalaksana pada jenis-jenis ubur ubur. Secara umum tatalaksana pada sengatan ubur-ubur dapat dilakukan dengan mengamankan tanda vital korban, menyingkirkan nematosit dan tentakel yang melekat, melakukan pembilasan dengan air laut, melakukan kompres air hangat, dan pemberian obat-obatan.
