GAMBARAN SPINAL CORD INJURY DI RSUP FATMAWATI TAHUN 2020

Spinal Cord Injury (SCI) adalah cedera medula spinalis yang dapat menyebabkan morbiditas dan mortalitas. Hingga saat ini studi terkait gambaran Spinal Cord Injury di Indonesia masih sulit ditemukan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Gambaran pasien Spinal Cord Injury di rawat inap RSUP Fatmawati pada tahun 2020. Studi Cross sectional dilakukan dengan meninjau rekam medis dari pasien yang didiagnosa Spinal Cord Injury yang dirawat inap selama 2020 di RSUP Fatmawati. Total sampling digunakan pada penelitian ini, didapatkan 82 pasien rawat inap yang terdiagnosa SCI. Proporsi perempuan (51.2%) lebih banyak daripada laki-laki (48.8%). Kelompok umur terbanyak adalah kelompok umur 46-60 tahun sebesar 30.5%. 50% pasien memiliki indeks massa tubuh normal. Mayoritas pasien berpendidikan SMA (42.7%), tidak memiliki pekerjaan (41.5%), berstatus menikah (53.7%), dan bertempat tinggal di luar Jakarta (63.4%). Penyebab paling umum dari SCI adalah Infeksi (Mycobacterium TB) 40.2%, diikuti Neoplastic 14.6%, dan jatuh 14.6%. Klasifikasi SCI terbanyak adalah SCI AIS D (42.7%) dengan Neuro Level Injury (NLI) di segmen Torakal (52.4%). 82.9% pasien mengalami komplikasi SCI. Komplikasi yang paling banyak ditemukan adalah neurogenic bladder (74.4%), neurogenic bowel (61%), dan spastisitas (24.4%). Kejadian Non-Traumatic SCI (NTSCI) hampir empat kali lipat dari Traumatic SCI (TSCI) di RSUP Fatmawati. Kebijakan kesehatan masyarakat harus bertujuan untuk mengurangi penyebab NTSCI khususnya Infeksi (Mycobacterium TB) dimana dapat diobati sebelum menyebar ke medula spinalis.
