FAKTOR – FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI GANGGUAN MENTAL EMOSIONAL REMAJA SMA

Menjaga kesehatan mental dan melalukan perencanaan masa depan sangalah penting, karena gangguan mental emosional merupakan kondisi yang menunjukkan seseorang sedang mengalami perubahan emosi yang jika terus berlanjut dapat berubah menjadi kondisi psikologis. Ada banyak faktor yang bisa memicu munculnya masalah gangguan mental emosional pada remaja diantaranya lingkungan keluarga, lingkungan teman sebaya, lingkungan sekolah, lingkungan masyarakat dan sosial media. Kesehatan mental anak akan terjaga dengan baik jika lingkungan sosialnya harmonis dan stabil. Tujuan daripada penelitian ini yaitu diketahuinya faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi gangguan mental emosional remaja SMA Negeri 1 Gedeg. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain survey analitik dengan pendekatan cross-sectional. Sampel pada penelitian ini berjumlah 88 responden dan pengambilan sampelnya menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Instrument yang digunakan yaitu kuesioner strength and diificulties questionnaire (SDQ) kemudian data dikumpulkan dan dilakukan pengolahan data dengan komputerisasi melalui tahapan editing, coding, memasukan data (data entry) atau processing data, pembersihan data (cleaning) dan tabulating. Analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis univariat dan bivariat menggunakan uji chi-square. Hasil penelitian diketahui ada pengaruh yang signifikan antara faktor lingkungan keluarga terhadap gangguan mental emosional (p-value = 0,005) dan faktor lingkungan teman sebaya terhadap gangguan mental emosional (p-value = 0,034).
