Abstract

Nyeri sendi merupakan masalah kesehatan umum pada lansia yang sering disertai kecemasan akibat kondisi tersebut. Salah satu faktor yang memengaruhi tingkat kecemasan pada pasien lansia dengan nyeri sendi adalah waktu tunggu pemeriksaan, terutama di pelayanan kesehatan mandiri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara waktu tunggu pemeriksaan dengan tingkat kecemasan pada lansia yang mengalami nyeri sendi di Praktek Perawat Mandiri. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain deksriptif korelatif dengan rancangan cross-sectional dan pengumpulan data melalui kuesioner. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan accidental sampling, melibatkan 35 pasien lansia dengan nyeri sendi yang berkunjung pada periode 15 Juni sampai 12 Juli Juni 2024. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji Chi-Square dengan bantuan SPSS versi 11. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan mayoritas responden (71,4%) memiliki waktu tunggu lebih dari 60 menit, dan sebagian besar (62,9%) mengalami kecemasan tingkat sedang. Analisis statistik menemukan hubungan signifikan antara waktu tunggu pemeriksaan dan tingkat kecemasan, dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 (p < 0,05). Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa semakin lama waktu tunggu pemeriksaan, semakin tinggi tingkat kecemasan yang dirasakan pasien lansia. Penelitian ini menyoroti pentingnya pengelolaan waktu tunggu untuk mengurangi kecemasan pada lansia dengan nyeri sendi, guna meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan kesehatan misalkan dengan manajemen stres distraksi seperti penambahan musik dan teknik lainnya untuk mengurangi stres ketika menunggu pelayanan.
