KADAR VITAMIN D PADA PASIEN DIABETES MELITUS TIPE 2: SYSTEMATIC REVIEW

Diabetes melitus merupakan gangguan metabolisme yang disebabkan oleh gangguan produksi insulin, kerja insulin, atau kombinasi keduanya yang ditandai dengan hiperglikemia persisten. Saat ini, vitamin D diakui sebagai salah satu faktor risiko diabetes mellitus yang dapat dimodifikasi. Oleh karena itu, tinjauan sistematis ini dibuat untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kadar vitamin D pada pasien diabetes mellitus. Pencarian artikel penelitian dalam tinjauan sistematis ini menggunakan ScienceDirect, Cochrane Library, dan PubMed (MEDLINE). Artikel penelitian yang digunakan pada tinjauan sistematis ini merupakan artikel yang dipublikasi antara tahun 2019 sampai tahun 2024. Semua artikel penelitian dipilih sesuai kriteria inklusi lalu artikel yang terpilih dibaca secara lengkap. Isi artikel penelitian dikumpulkan dan dilakukan tinjauan sistematis yang mengacu pada Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Review and Meta-Analyses Protocol (PRISMA). Terdapat 15 artikel penelitian yang sesuai dengan kriteria inklusi dalam penulisan tinjauan sistematis ini. Artikel penelitian tersebut terdiri dari tujuh penelitian kohort dan delapan penelitian potong lintang atau cross-sectional. Hasil penelitian tersebut menunjukkan vitamin D menurunkan resiko terjadinya diabetes melitus, terdapat perbedaan kadar vitamin D pada kelompok diabetes dan non-diabetes, perbedaan kadar vitamin D pada pasien diabetes dengan gula darah yang terkontrol mapun tidak terkontrol serta terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara vitamin D dengan komponen diabetes mellitus yaitu kadar gula darah puasa dan kadar HbA1c.References
