KECEMASAN, TINGKAT PENDIDIKAN DAN INTENSI DONOR DARAH: STUDI KORELASIONAL

Donor darah adalah tindakan sosial yang penting, namun partisipasi masyarakat masih rendah. Faktor-faktor seperti kecemasan terhadap jarum suntik dan tingkat pendidikan diyakini memengaruhi intensi donor darah seseorang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami hubungan antara kecemasan jarum suntik dan tingkat pendidikan dengan intensi donor darah. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain kuantitatif korelasional dengan melibatkan 225 responden berusia di atas 18 tahun yang memenuhi syarat donor darah. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner yang mengukur kecemasan terhadap jarum, tingkat pendidikan, dan intensi donor darah. Analisis korelasi Pearson digunakan untuk menguji hubungan antarvariabel dengan signifikansi 0,05. Terdapat hubungan negatif yang signifikan antara kecemasan terhadap jarum suntik dan intensi donor darah (p = 0,003), sedangkan tingkat pendidikan tidak memiliki hubungan signifikan dengan intensi donor darah (p = 0.17). Kecemasan terhadap jarum suntik merupakan hambatan utama dalam niat seseorang untuk mendonorkan darah, sementara tingkat pendidikan tidak menunjukkan pengaruh signifikan. Implikasi penelitian ini menunjukkan perlunya strategi manajemen kecemasan yang lebih efektif untuk meningkatkan partisipasi donor darah.References
