EDUKASI MELALUI MEDIA AUDIO VISUAL TERHADAP INTENSI PENANGANAN TERSEDAK PADA SISWA-SISWI DI SD ISLAM TERPADU MUTIARA MAUMERE

Tersedak pada anak merupakan keadaan gawat darurat yang perlu segera ditangani, jika terlalu lama dapat menyebabkan kurangnya oksigen dan menyebabkan kematian. Tersedak dapat terjadi dimana saja baik di rumah maupun lingkungan sekolah. Maka, pertolongan pertama pada anak tersedak harus cepat diberikan, karena sangat berpengaruh terhadap keselamatan anak. Untuk itu, dalam memberikan penanganan tersedak harus memiliki keinginan yang besar dalam melakukan hal tersebut. Tujuan penelitian yaitu untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian edukasi melalui media audio visual terhadap intensi penanganan tersedak pada siswa-siswi di SD Islam Terpadu Mutiara Maumere. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian nonequivalent control group design. Populasi pada penelitian sebanyak 132 responden. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 48 responden yang terbagi dalam 2 kelas dimana kelas 5 sebagai kelas perlakuan sebanyak 27 responden, sedangkan kelas 6 sebagai kelas kontrol sebanyak 21 responden. Pemberian edukasi dilakukan selama 3 hari. Data dikumpulkan dengan kuesioner. Analisis data pada kelompok perlakuan menggunakan uji wilcoxon rank test, sedangkan pada kelompok kontrol menggunakan uji paired t test. Hasil uji wilcoxon menunjukan nilai p=0,000<0,05 yang artinya terdapat pengaruh pemberian edukasi melalui media audio visual terhadap intensi penanganan tersedak pada siswa-siswi di SD Islam Terpadu Mutiara Maumere. Sedangkan hasil uji paired t test diperoleh p= 0.102. Oleh karena itu, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemberian edukasi melalui media audio visual dapat mempengaruhi intensi penanganan tersedak pada siswa-siswi di SD Islam Terpadu Mutiara Maumere. Disarankan kepada siswa-siswi setelah mendapatkan edukasi agar memiliki keinginan untuk membantu dalam memberikan penanganan tersedak, sehingga dapat mengurangi angka kematian akibat tersedak.References
