FAKTOR DETERMINAN STUNTING PADA ANAK 24-59 BULAN DI WILAYAH PERTANIAN LAHAN GAMBUT

Di Indonesia, stunting adalah masalah gizi jangka panjang, termasuk di Desa Simpang Warga Kecamatan Aluh-Aluh. Desa ini termasuk area pertanian berlahan gambut yang sebagian besar dilintasi oleh sungai, yang memberikan pasokan makanan bagi masyarakat. Angka stunting balita di desa ini sangat tinggi, meskipun ini adalah daerah pertanian. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh pemahaman tentang faktor-faktor determinan yang mempengaruhi tingkat stunting di daerah ini. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah case-control dengan sampel 90 anak, terdiri dari 45 kasus stunting dan 45 kontrol. Variabel yang diteliti meliputi asupan energi dan protein, penyakit infeksi, serta kondisi lingkungan dan perawatan ibu selama kehamilan. Data dikumpulkan melalui recall konsumsi 24 jam dan wawancara menggunakan kuesioner. Analisis bivariat dilakukan dengan uji chi-square dan analisis multivariat dengan uji regresi logistik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pola pengasuhan anak, perawatan kesehatan ibu selama kehamilan, dan riwayat penyakit infeksi merupakan faktor yang signifikan mempengaruhi kejadian stunting. Pola pengasuhan anak menjadi faktor paling dominan, terutama terkait dengan pemberian makan yang tepat dan perawatan kesehatan yang memadai. Penyakit infeksi, seperti diare dan ISPA, juga memiliki kontribusi yang signifikan terhadap stunting karena infeksi dapat mengganggu penyerapan nutrisi. Kesimpulannya, peningkatan pola pengasuhan, perawatan ibu hamil, serta upaya pencegahan penyakit infeksi dapat menurunkan risiko stunting di wilayah ini.References
