LAPORAN KASUS : PENYAKIT FURUNKEL PADA PASIEN LUPUS ERITEMATOSUS SISTEMIK

Furunkel adalah bentuk folikulitis yang dalam dan nekrosis dengan keterlibatan jaringan subkutan. Beberapa furunkel dapat bergabung membentuk karbunkel. Staphylococcus aureus (S. aureus) adalah agen penyebab. Faktor predisposisi adalah obesitas, diabetes, duduk lama, celana ketat yang mengganggu, atau imunodefisiensi. Pasien adalah penderita Lupus eritematosus sistemik (SLE) yang merupakan salah satu faktor predisposisi terjadinya penyakit ini. Lupus eritematosus sistemik (SLE) adalah penyakit inflamasi kronis multisistem, dengan karakteristik autoimun dan etiologi yang tidak diketahui, terkait dengan faktor genetik, lingkungan, dan hormonal. Penyakit ini terutama menyerang wanita selama usia subur dan cenderung lebih umum dan lebih parah pada individu kulit hitam dan Asia. Pengobatan berupa pemberian antibiotic pasien yaitu dapat berupa Sefalosporin generasi pertama, amoksisilin / klavulanat, atau klindamisin yang efektif melawan S. aureus dapat digunakan. Edukasi tentang menjelaskan mengenai penyakitnya meliputi penyebab, faktor risiko, pencegahan, dan pengobatan yang akan diberikan. Memberikan edukasi pasien pentingnya kepatuhan pengobatan sesuai anjuran dokter. Menjaga higiene personal dengan mandi teratur dan rajin mengganti pakaian. Menghindari menggaruk-garuk lesi.
