Edukasi Tentang Penyakit Menular Seksual (PMS) Pada Remaja Di SMPN 13 Kota Pekanbaru

Penyakit Menular Seksual (PMS) merupakan masalah kesehatan reproduksi yang serius dan kerap menyerang remaja akibat kurangnya pengetahuan, sikap, dan tindakan pencegahan. Data menunjukkan bahwa Kota Pekanbaru memiliki jumlah kasus HIV/AIDS tertinggi di Provinsi Riau, dan 50% kasus PMS terjadi pada usia 13–24 tahun. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Edukasi terhadap Pengetahuan tentang Penyakit Menular Seksual (PMS) pada Remaja di SMPN 13 Kota Pekanbaru. Penelitian ini dilakukan di kelas VII selama 2 kali pertemuan selama 4 jam. Hasil evaluasi sebelum diberikan kelas edukasi, tingkat pengetahuan responden kurang (76,3%), setelah dilakukan kelas edukasi tingkat pengetahuan baik (81,6%). Disarankan agar program kelas edukasi diterapkan secara berkelanjutan di sekolah-sekolah untuk meningkatkan kesadaran dan pencegahan PMS sejak dini.Downloads
